I thought they did. I noticed I didn't have one. I mentioned it at the 1000 mile service and they apologized profusely and installed one for me. May just have been a dealer thing though, but my impression was they were supposed to stick on there.

Another vote for the BTJ. I have one and while it does not look like it fits, it does. Just make sure that the polarity is correct, the Battery Tender Jr. has a reverse polarity circuit protector to prevent damage, but it has to be wired properly in order to work (charge) if I am not mistaken.

I had a battery tender jr that i was using on my Wide Glide. I was afraid I was going to have to get another pigtail to put on my street glide because the pigtail from the dealer looked bigger. If that is what is throwing you dont fret because if you lift the cap off of the bigger one it is still only a 2 connector and will work with most of the battery tenders

My jr. is over 10 years old and still works great. One of the handiest accessories is the 25' extension cord. I think I paid $7.99 years ago. Once a month I plug all the bikes in and wait for the green light to come on. I leave it on for an hour (each bike) then move it. It's easier to drag that cord around then moving the bikes in my heated garage.

Battery Tender

Thanks for all of the great replies. I think I'll pick one up from Walmart, cheap and no waiting on shipping. I put in a new battery a few months back and it's been sitting ever since.
