I've been riding a metric bike the past four years and only recently got my first HD, but until I read this thread I never realized that some folks are selective as to who they wave to based on what they ride. Wow, bummer.

Wave?? I too busy watching out for some Dumba$$ talking on their cell, changing CDs or just not seeing bikes in general to worry about other bikers. I don't know I guess I didn't buy a scooter in hopes others will notice me and wave, bought it to relax and enjoy the ride and NOT worry about anything (other than getting run over)......beside I agree its kinda gay.

Lots of responses.....I don't ride simply in hopes of getting lots of waves. My whole point was just friendliness in general. Too bad waving or gesturing is viewed as "gay" by some folks. Oh well.....Merry Christmas and ride safe.
