Low amp fuse would blow on the tender plug. Most people jump to the starter and a ground. You could add a bigger cable to the battery, perhaps marine trolling motor hookup with a plug and clips. Several ideas in the boat sections of different stores.
BTW - there is a tender cable available fused at 15 amps, most are 7.5. Not a bad upgrade anyway, air compressors and other things often exceed 7.5 amps.
No for the reason given and that the wire would likely burn up if the fuse was bypassed.
Use real jumper cables if you need to but:
best practice is to chanrge the battery with a real charger at least 24 hours.
If the battery has not been holding a charge, replace it
should you jump with a car, your bike charging system may overload ( and burn up) trying to charge a dud battery.
If the battery has died in the bike, it may not be capable of taking and charge- and will stress the charging system-- fixing that is much more expensive.
The reason I was asking is because I just put an amp in my faring and I was concerned about killing the battery if I used the stereo to long without the bike started. So to aviod taking the seats of two bikes I was hoping to use the tender(s).
