The reason I was asking is because I just put an amp in my faring and I was concerned about killing the battery if I used the stereo to long without the bike started.
To avoid this,play your tunes and figure out how long it takes to discharge the battery.Then when your out in the middle of nowhere,you what the limit is.

I would be hesitant to listen to the radio not knowing what condition the battery is in. It pays to have the battery load tested at least once per riding season.
