Whether you have a problem with your charging system or not, Harley Davidson batteries suck!!!!! You would be money ahead to find your nearest Interstate batteries dealer and buy the factory activated battery they sell. About $140.00 but well worth it!!!

Up to 2007 the HD batteries were ok. I know several people that got 5 years or more out of their batteries. After 2007 I began to see a lot of "early failures" with their batteries. A lot of 09 and 2010 bikes out there that didn't make it two years. Stay clear of the Harley batteries at least until they find a better suplier.
