Default speaker question

i have an 04 ultra and am looking to upgrade my speakers. i have the stock hd head unit and don't plan to change it unless it takes a poop. if i am not mistaken it is a 8ohm unit right? anways my questions deals with the ohms, i am not sure what brand speaker i want, still looking around but does it really make a big difference if i get 4ohm or 8ohm speakers and wire them to the radio for now? i will probably had a amp in the future, one thing at a time.

thanks
kevin

Check to make sure what they are, I was thinking 4 ohm, but if they are 8, I would suggest you stick with 8. You could always get an amp and go 4 and have much better sound.

I installed a Hogtunes amp and speakers in my 07 EGC. Couldn't be easier. These guys supply a top notch kit. Every thing you need is supplied. Even a dumby can do this. Thanks Hog Tunes.
