I had 'em do my factory seat on my 02 electra glide and it was a huge difference (memory foam, not double decker). I was so pleased with it I sent a second seat that was not as deep as the factory seat trying to improve it. I wasn't happy with the second one. As was said on an earlier post, they did offer to rework it but I didn't want to send it back in.

We've put 35k miles on ours since MCC did their magic.....
Would not hesitate to send in another seat if needed.....
We went from an uncomfortable 300 mile ride to riding 600 miles comfortable
with the alterations.....

I had Allen do a couple for me and both were very good.
Just got the wifes deluxe stock seat done and had it lowered with foam. Now it's perfect and the bike looks like it should. Now I got a solo reduced reach seat to get rid of.

Thanks for all your replies. I've done a little over 600 mi on my Limited seat in a day and I was ok with it. Now I'm debating having both seats done.

I go 280

double decker was a must have, and I didn't think the stock SG seat was uncomfortable before, but now the dbl deck memory foam is just unbelieveable

I broke it in with 650 miles worth of riding the first weekend I had the seat back, and I swear I didn't have to shift my *** once in 650 miles from a single pressure point

well worth the money!

We did the wife's FB back over the summer and had it shaped and dropped to help her with positioning, single layer memory foam, and now the seat is soooo nice that her brand new Corbin Gunfighter just sits in the garage and the stock seat is on the bike full time.

I have a 2011 roadglide ultra and have the detach kit as well and I also bought a 2010 sg take off seat for when I have the tourpac off. I sent mine in for the double decker treatment and not a lot of difference between how it was stock and after the double decker foam (I did not think the seat was bad to begin with tho). A full touring seat has a lot more padding to work with where as the SG seat is pretty thin so only so much that can be done. Visually you can not tell that anything has been done to the seat so they do a very good job of reusing the stock covering. I am ~200 or so.

The MCC folks are tops! I've got long legs and weigh in at 230 so I did a double decker memory foam mod to a sundowner a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, I no longer use it since memory foam isn't a good seating material for me. Now, I use an air ride seat and couldn't be happier. Bottom line, MCC does excellent work for a fair price. Just pick your seat material wisely. YMMV.

I had a memory foam mod done on my '11 Ultra seat as well as about a 2" lowering and some narrowing of the seat. I can't say how it feels for about another 7 weeks or so, but it does look great. Keep in mind, if you are traveling 400+ miles a day, your undergarment is just as important as your seat.
Check these guys out www.ldcomfort.com If its good enough for the ironbutt guys, its good enough for me.

After a 2500 mile trip last summer on my stock 09 FLHT seat, I knew I needed something better. Just a terrible case of numb butt. Seat was sent off to MCC for double memory foam mod. Much improved. It isn't plush by any means and it is firmer than stock. Heck, you ever sit on a Corbin seat? The best compliment I can give the MCC mod is after a couple 600 mile trips, I have no numb butt issues. They'll work with you to get what you want/need...
