Double memory foam front and rear with seat heaters
front and rear and would not think of riding without it
on my Ultra now. I have had it for almost 3 years now
and love it more and more I think. i am gonna do the
Run For The Wall from LA to DC this year and just know
there will be no problems because of my seat selection
anyway.
They replaced the cover and applied the memory foam treatment to my Ultra seat and I must say, this has been the most comfortable modification that I've done. Before sending it in, I was looking to get off the bike before each fuel stop and now I could ride further if it was possible!
MCC is just down the road a few miles from me. They did a gel pad and memory foam on my rider's seat and memory foam on the passenger's seat.
When you first sit on the seat, you won't notice much difference in the feel from a factory seat. The difference in feel is very subtle. However, where you'll notice the difference is on a long day of riding.
When my seat was stock, I couldn't ride but about 100 miles before I would start squirming trying to get comfortable. After a full day of riding, I was completely miserable.
Shortly after MCC modified my seat I went on a short day ride that was about 300 miles. I never even realized until after I got home that I had never been uncomfortable and hadn't squirmed in the seat one time all day.
Having MCC modify my seat was some of the best money I've spent on a mod. I'll definitely do it again with my next bike.

.
That's what I was saying, my seat has no pressure points now
I had mine done last year and put 5000 miles on it. I did the single deck and had the seat lowered about 3/4". The difference is night and day. Now the limiting factor is no longer but burn. Before, about 200 miles and I felt the heat. I did 1200 miles over three days and no monkey butt. Plus their customer service is top notch. My buddy has a $600 Corbin on his Fat Boy and prefers mine. I have a RKC and weigh 185 lbs.
I just had the memory foam mod done from Mean City. The customer service was great and quick turn around. The seat is new so I haven't put much mileage on it yet. The quality of the mod was great. You would never know they had the cover off. It feels good and with limited mileage on it...I'd say it feels better than the stock seat and seems to conform better to your rump.
