I have the HD headlight, the engine guard fog lights and will be installing CD led front and rear blinkers with triple play this weekend as well as a BAL- 1. Just call custom dynamics they will walk you through everything you need.

The LED turn signal load equalizers are not needed - get yourself a solid state flasher around $10 at NAPA. I just successfully did a LED conversion project with no load equalizers. Search the threads or try google for more info and you'll thanks yourself when you find how easy it is

This could be a problem if you have a security system. The signals are integrated with your security system. LEDs draw much lower current so the security system may interpret this as security issue and the bike may not start. This yet another reason to have the equalizer. HD LEDs have a load equalizer incorporated in them so you don't require one. in my opinion HD LED's aren't as easy to install as the Custom Dynamic ones and when you add in the cost of the equalizer with the CD's it works out to be about the same price as HD's.

Good point - I haven't tried it on a bike with a security system.

I stink at all things electrical. I just had the dealer do mine, and it was not all that bad. What I can tell you is that once you get it done, you will love it. LED's are SO much better than the stock lights it is hard to believe.
