Default denim paint

Im looking at painting my 2004 road king custom with denim paint. Bike has hard bags black apes and black front end. I have looked but really can't find pics of denim road kings. Was thinking a denim smoke/gun metal grey or black. Pics, opinions on color, or just go with gloss color welcomed

Because your bike wasn't offered in denim it would be rare find because of re-paint so I say you take control & be the Highlander on this one & get 'er done. Would be sweet & different from the rest...

Well I remember seeing a RK in American Bagger that I really like in denim. So I dug though my stack of books and found it. It's the Oct 08 issue with Paul Yaffe on the front cover. Here is the on line link to see it. They only have one pic on the web. The book I have has a full 10+ pic of this bike. Hope this helps a little.

Denim is easy to keep clean, a bottle of windex and soft cloth towel is all you need for a quick wipe down.....Love my denim FLHT. I think the RK would look good in denim also.

I'm envisioning a Denim Road King Custom with Denim V&H Dresser Duals, Mufflers, and Air Cleaner, and the vision is making me think "Evil Sexy". Do it...!!!

A few years back I painted my bike (which I sold a while back) with Pewter Denim that I got here http://www.colorrite.com/ I took my time and did all the prep work. A few days later it was done and turned out great. It's an 03 model that looked much newer after the paint job. Denim is real easy to care for too. I know it's not a RK but it gives you a good idea of how doing it yourself would turn out.
