I've run a SAE cable back to my tour pack to power some chargers, and in need of a SAE cap to keep the grime and rain out of it when not in use. I am going to connect to the SAE pigtail coming off the battery that I use for my tender when it's needed, but it will be exposed when not in use.
Problem is the SAE extension cable I installed doesn't have the cap and lanyard with it, and I've not been able to find a cap to use. Local dealer said "just buy another pigtail for 20 bucks and cut the cap off and use it". There's got to be a cheaper way, and I figured somebody here has had this problem and found a cheap solution. Ideas?
