The truth sometimes hurts. I traded a 2010 Limited that I really enjoyed for 15 mos.,26k
miles,41 states on a Vision last Aug. Other than not quite as much storage the Vic. beats the Limited
in all aspects IMO.Power,handling,comfort,lighting,ease/cost of maint. and after $2k in
exhaust,ac,tuner and dyno tune,7 grand less.
Take all the metric parts off your bike & see how it runs
get real - this is 2012 - Remove all the Metric built stuff out of our HD catalog - you wouldn't have enough paper to wipe your *** on - join the real world - up until this year, Goldwings were built in Marysville, Ohio - All that chrome you bought for your RK - where in the hell do you think it was made - not in the USA - wish it was but thats not the way it is -

Agreed,a little hard on my eyes too at first. Performance,cost, quality,comfort got me looking thru rose colored glasses though.

Heritage Softail Classic, too bad you left it off your check list survey. I have owned RK's and E/Glides, all good bikes, My most recent touring bike is a Heritage, It runs cooler, rides better, easier to handle, better mpg, lighter and best ergonomics of any bike on the list. Too bad I can't vote on the best touring bike I'v owned.

Let us know what you get for that Victory in 15 months and 26k. Let us know where you get it fixed when you are out on the road with a problem. Let us know what the cost per mile is in comparison with Harley. Let the riders on the Victory forum know that your on your way to the newby board. Don't let the door hit you...., you know the rest.
