I've been on the fence a few days about the purchase of a windshiled. I'm looking for a 10" to compliment the lower position of my recently purchased 2011 SG seat. My first inclination is a LRS Stealth using my 20% survey coupon. Doing some internet/ebay surfing, I came across this sale on a bronze 10" ... http://www.ebay.com/itm/400271499125...84.m1423.l2649 for $50/shipped. They have no pictures of this shield/tint combo but have sold several of the 8" models. The tinting is a result of some left over bronze material Cee Bailey had. The only difference between this model and a $50 more Cee Bailey is no logo/polished edges. The bronze tinting is like this .. http://www.ebay.com/itm/WindVest-Rep...item1c1f1318bb
I'm thinking it'd look nice on my denim black bike but wondering if anyone here has purchased one and can provide a picture or input ?? Thanks....
Check out Clark's Custom Windshields extra wide windshields.
Here are some pics of the 7.5 inch dark tint Flame on the SG, and the 10 inch light tint on the Ultra.
I am sensing that a 10" windshield is the lowest I should go on a 2011 limited. I want a lower smoked windshield than the 12" stock but don't want to go to low (no reason in particular other than its what I've been told). Any thoughts??
