I like the rush with the 2.25 baffles. I'm not sure if you will get real loud unless you get rid of the cats by the collector. You can get a full exhaust for under 200 bucks more then you'll pay for the slip ons. You will pick up better performance and get a bad *** sound. You can get V&H big shots for 499 delivered.
2009- no cats in the header unless it's a california bike.
OP, you should go to a bike night and see what sound you like on other rider's bikes- then ask what they have- I'm assuming you are newer to harleys.
realize that loud does not equate to fast and can actually be slower off the line.
the loudest bike I ever heard was a Dyna--- he was so slow that on a hiway onramp that I had to go around him on my 53 FLF, at my exit 7 miles on, he still hadn't caught up

I'm looking for a pair of slip on mufflers for my 2009 Road King Classic. What are the loudest mufflers available?
Straight through drag pipes are going to be the loudest if you really are looking just to make noise, however, the performance hit will be really noticeable. The best advice you have gotten so far is to spend some time hearing others yourself, sound clips don't do them justice and your idea of loud may not be the same as someone else's. Also, ask questions when yuo hear the ones you like, they might sound real good because they are on a 110" motor with a big cam and other goodies, then they won't be exactly the same on yours. Me, personally, i highly recommend Jackpots and Rush for a great combination of price, sound and performance. Good luck in your search.
Fuel Moto jackpots with competition baffles. They are fairly loud, but have a nice deep sound. Luv them.
I am going to guess you are running the comp baffles in jackpots? I am about to install a power package from Fuel Moto and got the comp. baffles as well.
When you installed the comp baffles did you put the packing in or leave it out?
When I opened my box to drool over the parts they had sent me some new packing. I was wondering why I just couldnt use the original packing.
SLIPONS- I agree with Piesik... CFR's are loud and deep! But for some real noise...
Loudest pipe on a bagger I have heard yet is my Sinister Industries "Up Yours" 2in1 pipe... but it is ca$hy! My buddy has a fat cat 2in1 and his is damn loud also... but he has about 120 Horsepower at the wheel which I'm guessing would make a huge difference.
