Yeah I know, batteries again. Anyone have experience with the Odyssey 925LMJ or the Odyssey brand batteries in general? Read some good reviews but kinda pricey.

I have used odyssey batteries before. No bad experiences but I only had it for 18 months before I sold the bike. It was smaller than the lead acid battery it replaced but it had twice the CCA.

I've had 2 odyssey batteries --- the first one had an internal fault and went "open" and left me at the side of the road.

the 2nd was the replacement for it.

It shorted out internally and would have burned my bike and garage and house down, had I not heard the battery "boiling".

I used bolt cutters to cut the cables and threw the thing out in the driveway...this was on my fxr so an easy 1 bolt retainer under the seat

they replaced that one under warranty and I sold it on craigslist- I think one lasted 8 months and the other 7 months

no more expensive mystery batteries for me- I use AGM.

Deka is the battery of choice for many riders these days
