Paul, from Jville. He has done two of mine. $300 installed at your house.

Default $400. just to paint mine

I got a price of $400. and one guy wanted $500. - $550. because of the tri stage paint. For $550. i might as well sell mine for $100. and get a new one from H.D. Im a little worried about filling the holes where my old mirrors were i can see them eventually showing through!!

I bought mine through an on-line dealer, so I saved over 20%.
The dealer did charge me 3 hours to swap the inner fairings.

Brother stores his bike at dealership for the winter and just had his inner fairing done. They took it off and had it painted locally. Total was $550. $200 of that was for the removal/install. Fairing was 2 tone with pin stripes.

Kuryakyn makes a "inner cover plate" that covers the mounting holes from the stock mirrors. Comes in chrome part # 3767 or gloss black part # 7210 for $29.99 a pair. I haven't seen them other than the new catalog - page 132. Could be an option.

I think a clean look would be the best. The stock mirrors leave some big holes to fill, what did you use to smooth them out?

Talked to painter yesterday what it would cost to do body work and paint if I can get $75. For my inner I can get a new one from HD, so I think I'm going to order a new one. I posted a thread on how to do fill mirror holes and hit a reply that sounded pretty good more of an acrylic filler.

I have a question, is everybody that is posting on this thread, taking off the stock mirrors? I can understand getting a new inner fairing if that is the case, so you dont have to fill in any holes, but if simply wanting a painted inner fairing, why not just paint the orginal one? I was thinking about getting mine painted. Surely you can have it painted by somebody as cheap as you can purchase one from HD.

you can get it painted cheaper then buying from HD but if you have a tri stage paint its going to cost more then say just vivid black, but still is cheaper then HD. My problem is i have to pay to have holes filled and even the painter said that he has seen them halo.
