Default Mirrors

I have had an Ultra for a year now and have had trouble seeing behind me with the stock mirrios. I put the exstentions on them and it helps but don't like how they look.
I see they have mirrios with the long stem but i amy afraid the vibration will effect them.
Is anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions?

These have worked well for me. The stem is about an inch longer than stock, and the blind spot mirrors do a good job of expanding the view. From the HD Parts & Accessories Catalog.

Hey Friend, I was having the same issue. When I looked in my mirrors I could't see behind me as well as I wanted. I bought "Tapered Mirrors - Chrome Long Stem". HD part numbers: 91846-03B & 91848-03B. They really look good an I have not noticed any excessive vibration. Now I see both sides of my tourpack instead of my big **** shoulders. They retail for $39.95 each but I bought them from New Castle HD online for $29.99 each plus freight. Happy trails....

I have a set of these on the way. Bought them on e bay for $12 + $11 shipping. It seems like a lot of e bay sellers think the long stems are short stems. There were some years and some model Sportsters the long mirrors came stock on. Look at the pictures and ask the seller to give you an approximate dimension from the bend at the mirror and the bend towards the threaded end. If it is 4 1/2 inches they are the long stem mirrors, With an inch difference (3 1/2 for shorts) even if they can't measure very well you will get the long stems. Be sure to ask about scratches in the mirror and the chrome. Short stems are selling well on e bay so you can sell yours if you get the longer stems. Good luck.

I installed Street Glide mirrors and moved them 1/2 inch out and they work perfect and look good too

Lionsm13 - I'm thinking about the Wicked Fast Lanes, and am wondering about vibration/clarity. Are the FLs stable like stock or do they vibrate and give a blurred image? I have Performance Machine's FL mirrors but they vibrate so much that the image is usless, for me. Look great, but I need to be able to see.
