So snow is on the way, finished installing my bars 2 weeks ago and the guitar I am building has to sit for a while for the finish to cure so what to do...
Why not pull off the Tour Pack, sounds like a great idea. It looks like a totally different bike. I do like it. Now of course I will have to do something about the couch cushion and what I am going to do with my plate (wire tied it for temporary).
Oh and I think my ambient temp gauge is broken, Took it for a test ride after I pulled the pack and the gauge did get up to 30...anyone else have problems with this???Hahahahahahah!!!!!
Thanks. I was thinking about the quick kit, but it only took me about 15-20 minutes to get it taken off. I will not be putting it on and off often. I plan to leave it off for most of the season. I have a really nice sissy bar pack that I will use when we take multi day trips. My wife brings so much stuff it would never fit in the TP anyway...
This is the pack on my old RKC, this pack is really nice and sturdy.
is it you doing the BS tele ?--- don't forget the preamp switch in the pickguard!
mike
Yes mike it is me. Thanks
I am finally on the right track now after a few failed attemps. But then again that is a good portion of the fun. Just like turning the bike into what you want to be...
Hey MK cool picture. Well I finished up my project today got it all back together. I am quite happy with how it came out after a few failed attemps at getting what I was going for I think I nailed it about as best as I could. Thanks for the tips on the Bardens. I ended up putting the Vintage Noisless back in for now. I am leaning towards some BareKnuckles so I figured until I make up my mind no need in spending any more $$$. I will be posting up pics tomorrow night on the Telecater Forum.
Thanks
Joe
