In my earlier post, I said that the dealer replaced the stereo because of the CD skipping. I was curious about what verison softwarethe new radio would have in it. I just checkedto see what verison the dealer had in the new radio. Its the7.8 verison. What's up with that. I don't get it, new radio but not the update.
Just ordered mine. I ordered the #0902-AA front speakers. I hope I did the right thing. I know there was some talk about going with the other speakers and the amp but I figured I'd play it safe for now. I hope they improve to quality of the sound.
Put a set of 4 in my Ultra last spring and have not regretted it. One of the best upgrades to my bike I have done. Clean, crisp, great customer service.
If you need more bass you will need a subwoofer of some type.
HogTunes kept me awake and interested on my major road trip last year.
Also as a payback to the late night partier and engine reving fools at the Buffalo Chip I liked to crank the HogTunes up and play Reveille at 6:00 am when I was making coffee.
My dealer claims to do the software update whenever a bike is in for service but I know he has missed some on mine. So I do it myself.
Hog Tunes Rule!I had Polk Audio before My Hog Tunes and was a bit disappointed in them.I called and talked to Pez and He explained how Hog Tunes worked (which I still don't understand LOL) but Pez does so that's all that matters. He sent Me the Hog Tunes (with amp) and I was blown away the first time I rode down the highway at 85.If you're considering Hog Tunes, have no fear and just get them. You wont be disappointed.
