Nothing wrong with a J&S. I've got a pitbull because I needed the additional lift, but I'd definitely own and use a J&S.

I don't think I've ever used a T-handle on a jack. I've got one for my pitbull somewhere in the garage, but I'd probably have to spend a few minutes looking for it.

I picked up the J&S last winter on a trip that included Hoban Bros., J&S, and Fuel Moto.

Kinda nice living in WI somtimes.

My credit card company loved me too that day.

I bought a used J&S from a member recently. I had thought about ordering the T-handle as it didn't come with it but I'm glad I didn't. I just don't see how it could be of much benefit. Using the foot lever is simple enough and the long handle would just give me something to accidentally hit the bike or car with

The T handle is for moving and positioning the jack, not for pumping it up.

Its a bit of a sad story, really. It was made by Bob Epstein, http://www.pangal.com, who passed away suddenly last year. But looking at the site, its been completely re-designed (derby covers, etc are here: http://www.pangal.com/bike_parts/sto...ock_parts.html). At the time his wife said she would continue production of his stuff somehow so maybe they are available again.

Its a tremendous derby cover, the skull is raised and its nicely powdercoated, really amazing.

If you can't get one from there, you'll have to go with one of the custom fabricators, but those will mostly be etched or some other approach which would not be as nice if you ask me. Something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Bille...#ht_638wt_1110
