Definately post up some pics when you get it all put together. I'm debating picking up some lowers and eventually putting speakers in them. I used to have a street glide that I swapped out the stock fairing speakers with J&M speakers (I think 6.5", can't remember). It was a huge improvement compared to stock. I can't imagine how good new speakers in the fairing with speakers in lowers all powered by an amp would sound. I'm just getting ready to start searching and reading up on putting speakers in the lowers. Wondering if it is a pretty big difference in sound. Also, wondering if a 2 channel or 4 channel amp would be better for this combo.
i always plan on taking pics when i do mods but sometimes i just get going & before i know it im done & didnt take any pics...ill try & not let that happen.
i went with the X2 because i will never fade the speakers. & cause im running four speakers i wire them up to run 2ohm.
i should note that i will not be getting the new fosgate speakers for a while do to the amount of $money$ i have just spent on the amp & fairings so i will be using my J&Ms that i have already.

really freaking loud but the J&Ms i have are the 5.25" & i think thats where im still not 100% happy yet. dount get me wrong it sounds 100 times better than just the HK running them. now i definitely cant wait to get the 6.5" fosgates in the fairing & lowers.
i paid $215 OTD
I am glad to hear that you like the new amp. I just ordered it from a guy on e-bay and got a good deal $169 shipped and they had 6 left after I ordered mine. I also ordered the 6.5" power rockford fosgate speakers. Same ones in the package from Yafee and saved a lot of money. Now just waiting to get them Here is the link only 3 left http://www.ebay.com/itm/280837232829...ht_2525wt_1270
I think I'm going to get a RF300x2 amp and install it my saddlebag to run my 6x9 speakers in the lids. I already have the RF300x4 that is install in the upper fairing. I will use it to run 2 sets of 6.5 speakers in the upper and lower fairing. All speakers will be running at 4 ohm and using a Sony HU. Will this be a good setup or would anyone use a different setup?

Hey Chillls. How easy is the RF300x2 to hook up?? Do you have to purchase a wiring harness or anything or is it pretty close to plug and play? I have hawg wired sx 5 1/4" 2 ohm speakers now and just want a little more push out of those... but I'm pretty much a greenhorn when it comes to setting up audio. Thanks.
