right now im just running J&Ms in the faring but eventually going to put on vented lowers & run four fosgate T165 4ohm 6.5" two way full range speakers & wire them at 2ohms. should sound real good at freeway speeds.
How are you going to mount it? Is there a bracket out there to mount it on top of the HK head unit? Sorry, just started reading up on amps and saw a lot of people are going with the RF's and most seem to be happy with them.

ya know im not sure yet. i dont think they come with brackets. i will probably just use some 3M double sided tape to mount it atop the radio. we use that stuff at work to mount all kinds of stuff in trucks.
cant wait now i just ordered my vented lowers from the dealer today & got the CVO 6.5" boxes to put in where the glove boxes go but im going to have to paint them black cause they come the greyish blackish plastic color. i dont want to color match the boxes i want them black on the inside like my inner faring is. even though the painted inner fairing does look really nice its just too much for me to look at all the time.
Definately post up some pics when you get it all put together. I'm debating picking up some lowers and eventually putting speakers in them. I used to have a street glide that I swapped out the stock fairing speakers with J&M speakers (I think 6.5", can't remember). It was a huge improvement compared to stock. I can't imagine how good new speakers in the fairing with speakers in lowers all powered by an amp would sound. I'm just getting ready to start searching and reading up on putting speakers in the lowers. Wondering if it is a pretty big difference in sound. Also, wondering if a 2 channel or 4 channel amp would be better for this combo.
