It's a keepsake from our trip to Billings earlier this year.
My bike developed a gawd-awful "knock" about 2k miles from home. I did not know at the time (until I came home and tore the f'er apart) that it was just the Compensator Nut had backed off. There's a bulletin on it and I had not yet expereince that issue, so I was afraid I had a REAL problem & wasn;t gonna chance riding it home or letting some unknown touch my bike somewhere out on the road.
Thanks to someone on this forum, I figured out what it was and fixed it.
thanks to all, and thanks to phil for assisting the build and for allowing me to do this in his garage. I am grateful.I had a lot of fun. now all i need to do is get it dyno tuned!
