I know this has been discussed before, and I think I saw what I am looking for on here. But search came up with nothing. I am looking for info on the mount for a Garmin GPS that either screws to the inner fairing or the threaded one with the ball on it to use the factory cradle for my Nuvi 255w. Any help appreciated..
Ok, thanks. I think I saw the mount on ebay. I contacted RAM and they told me they didn't have what I was looking for. Will check with GPSCITY..Again thanks...
I was looking for the same thing to mount my Garmin which is also a 255W. Found a ton of mounts on e-bay. They have the RAM mounts and also Garmin specific mounts that attach to the handlebar. They have the same size ball on the end that your Garmin mount has, just snap it in, or you can get one that has the cradle or one that has a water resistant pouch built on to the mount.
Go to e-bay,type in Garmin motorcycle mount, I found one for a little over $5.00.
I got this on Ebay and mounted it on Inner Fairing. Had to drill a 1/4" hole but it works great no Vibration. I hard wired it at the same time small hole below with a rubber grommet to make weather tight.
