I went with arnott air.
I can dump all of the air from the shocks so I get a better grip with my feet for moving the bike around.
I can also adjust the ride on the fly by pressing a button.

It's worth every penny.

I'm a tad over 5'7" and I couldn't flatfoot when I bought my bike. I put the Reduced Reach seat on and it put me in a more commanding riding position. I still can't fully flatfoot, but I can get most of my foot down. It's enough to back the bike up without climbing onto the tank like I used to have to do. I'm thinking Santa might be bringing drop shocks for Christmas this year....

Harley Goodies make a great set of spacers to move your floor boards out an inch. I have a buddy who is verticly challenged. His fix was a reach seat, lowered the back end of his bike and put lifts in his boots. He also cut out soles from rubber belting material about 1/2" thick and glued them to the soles of his boots. If I'm not mistaken shoemakers will glue thicker soles to your soles as well.

Lets face it. We are what we are. Short. As such we will modify our bikes to make them as comfy as possible and we will compromise when it comes time to pick a parking spot, or walk a little distance to avoid gravel. We do what we do because we enjoy riding the "Touring Bike". At least I don't have to worry about ducking under things and when my legs get a little tight riding for a long time I can just take them off the floorboards and relax them by letting them hang down. Tall dudes can't do that.

I'm 5'6" & have a '07 SG with a burley slammer kit that I installed. Lowered my front 1" and the rear 2" ... thick soled boots helps too lol And def send your seat to meancity for modding...best money you will ever spend!

Did my seat at MCC and had thicker soles put on my boots. Sounds silly but it really works well.

I am 5'5" on a EGUL. I have HD Profile Lowers on the rear and a Reach (not super) seat. I stand flat footed.

I am 5'8" and have a 30 inch inseam. I have always used logger boots with the thicker heel. No problems being flat footed on my RGU or when backing it up. I still have the stock setup and seat on the bike.
