Oh, to be 5'7" - Iam 5'6" and 62 = Been on my 04 since Feb 04 - I went the entire route... in lowering,,, went back to stock height because of the BAD ride, esp for the wife on back.. I had my Corbin custom made at the CA Corbin factory - wear Red wing Boots and Iam fine on the bike..
Now if you 2010 has the subframe set up - look into the drop frame Kit - that is the way to go and keep everything else stock - the ride will be great and your feet will be Flat on the ground.,.. My 04 does NOT have the sub frame or I would got the drop frame kit..
im just 5'8" if i stretch. i ride a 01 EGC. 1" lowering bracket on the rear shocks, badlander seat, 1" floorboard extension..the bike fits me pretty well, i'm not flatfooted, but pretty comfortable on the ball of my feet.. i had 2" drop progressive springs in the front, but the bike would bottom out on bumps and the bike would stand strait up on the kickstand
what your missing is diffrent people are shaped diffrent i am taller then you, but my legs are shorter 28" inseam .. also some bikes depending the year are wider make it harder to reach the ground .
I'm 5'-6" and ride an 08" ultraclassic. Lowered front suspension and installed lowered shocks on the back. Also had the seat narrowed by 2.0" at a local shop. It's all good!!
I am 5'10'' w/a short inseam riding a '09 Road glide (13'' shocks). I swapped out my wheels and went with a 21/16 combo opposed to the standard 21/18 that everyone else is doing. I am getting the lowered Monotubes along with a 2-2a's (12 1/8") from Howard. I am also concedering sending two of my seats off to MCC to get narrowed and reshaped. I just need to find out if they touch the Hammock and Danny Gray Solo's up there. It sucks having a short inseam.
