You need a dyno tune. You can try a flash from the dealer or buy a power commander with a "canned" MAP downloaded to it & see if your bike runs right with that. We can give you a Power Commander V & a MAP for $299, if you want it custom tuned by your nearest dyno tuner you will need this anyway. Go to www.dynojet.com & search for your nearest tune shop.

MGS, I know you're trying to do well by the people here and also sell your product, but just from reading what the OP wrote, I don't think he has a great handle on what's been done to his bike or what it should be doing. He knows he has Rinehart True Duals and a new set of handlebars. He thinks he has a download from a computer (his words). I would think his recourse would be to first go to who did the work and ask the right questions. If indeed he does need a tuner, then yours may be his choice, but if he bought your tuner not knowing exactly what his issue is, the tuner may not resolve his issue, at which point it would be fair for him to express his dissatisfaction in your product, fairly so, even though we all know a Power Commander is a great product. Too many times I see guys on here touting the tuner as a "cure all", but there are many times they may not even be needed. The best thing you can do for your customers is to not "upsell", be honest, tell them what they need to know, let them make an informed decision even if means losing a sale once in a while, your honesty and candor will keep them coming back, buying more and recommending you to others. Just my , but what do I know, I'm just an old fart that loves riding Harleys.

Is this correct? You're supposed to reflash back to stock before adding a PC? I have a PCIII USB and am running it on an ECM that had a stage one download.

I believe that you are ok running the PCIII on top of an ECM with a Stage 1 or any other flash. The purpose of a piggyback device is to override the current ECM settings, unplug it and you are back to the dealer Stage 1 flash. Now, I'm no expert, but but I don't think it matters what your ECM is flashed to, it uses the data from the add on unit.
Reading these type threads makes me appreciate that I was lucky enought to have been riding back when we could change some pipes/headers, re jet carbs, play with ign timing, fuel, chain sprockets etc. Go out for a test run, come back and tweak it some more. Now I just leave it stock. I really dont like being dependent on some high tech stuff that I have to pay big bucks for. My RK runs well as is and its fast enough.

You are correct with this assumption as long as it is only a Stage I flash.
Call www.fuelmotousa.com and have Jamie sell you a Power Commander or Power Vision with a canned map for your specific application. Cost you about 300.00 and your bike will run great.
Can't say enough about that paragraph. I decided to go with Fuel Moto and a PC v on my softail. Jamie was there for me, put up with foolish questions. Bike ran strong.
