Know the best thing? if I would of taken the bike in to be fixed I would of spent all that $$$ on labor alone.
Moral of the story HD forums & a HD manual = priceless!
Is this on your 2000? Still running the stock tensioners?
Yup, I did the SE cam plate upgrade already! yup I knew what you were thinking. Still on the fence about the TW6 cam I have sitting around. Right now the cams are stock.
Plus on that! This forum has been great in helping me with projects from the simple like changing the exhaust to the complex like tips for removing my inner fairing. And if there is ever a problem with your bike just post a question here - you'll find your not alone and can save a bundle by reading the replies!
Couldn't agree more. This forum (as well as the manual) is priceless. I'm certainly not the greatest wrench but I like to work on my own bike. I just installed monotubes on my 11 UC and even though I've had the ignition out several times I had issues getting it back together. All I had to do was find the video of the ignition install and he doesn't just show you how to uninstall/install....he shows you how to fix it after you've screwed up.
