Default 10" Yaffe Classic Bars

Ok so I am pretty damn happy. I started last night installing my new bars. Just wanted to get a little jump start before my dad came today to help me. Well once I got started I could not stop. I installed new Poly riser bushings, bars, new coolsac grips, mirrors, then reinstalled outer fairing. Got everything done in about 3 hrs. I really like the CoolSac grips. In all with tearing it apart took around 4 hrs. Not bad for a first timer. It would have went faster but i reinstalled the ignition switch outer nut, the one under the ignition switch, upsidedown. Also the brake line is extremely tight. I routed it everyway possible. Has anyone had this issue? Should it be ok?

Nice job !! If your brake line is very tight...you might want to replace it with a +4" brake line...just for safety sake. Its a piece of mind thing for me lol And it is very easy to do !

Looks great! Bars install goes pretty quickly when you're not extending wiring, swapping clutch, throttle and idle cables, and brake lines. You're pushing the limit on brake lines, and probably the clutch cable, too, so you will want to make sure everything works smoothly at full lock both directions. If you choose to extend your brake lines (which sounds like a good idea), that goes pretty quickly. If you have a mity-vac, you can bleed the front brakes in about 10 minutes.

Thanks for the responses. It was great to save myself $400 and enjoy working on the bike also. All the cables were good on length except the brake cable. Anyone looking at having the stealer do your bars just man up and do them. Really easy!

Looks good.
I really like the way your inner fairing matches your bikes theme.
Nice work.

Thanks. Once the weather warms up I hope to get some better pics. To cold right now though.
