I have mine under the seat. I actually had to unattach the fuse block to be able to work the plugs through. Took some work but it is much better than sitting behind the side cover.

I put my Custom Dynamics Load Equalizer under that shelf in the battery box. I routed the wires through the same hole through the fuse block as I'm sure you're doing with your Biketronics Load Equalizer. I put the strobe module in exactly that same location where you have your LE, and I'm sure the wires are routed exactly the same. Makes it a touch easier to get to it and adjust the settings if need be. I figured I'd never need to touch the LE as it's a bit more difficult to access in the battery box.

i went with the red LEDs in the back with the red lenses (didnt like the look of the clear lenses i got) & white LEDs up front with the yellow lenses. id give you part numbers but im not by the bike, i didnt get the moon shinez cause i wasnt sure if i was going to like the clear lenses (glad i didnt).

very happy with the install & the way it turned out, now just waiting on the load equalizer. did you put in inline before the strobe or after? OH YA that thins is awesome!!
Out of curiosity why did you buy new lenses? Mine are red in the rear and yellow in front from the factory. Can't you use the stock ones?

yes you can reuse witch is what i did. i got the clear lenses for two reasons
1) i wasnt sure if i would like the clear lenses better than the stock ones & if the lenses would be too dark for the rear.
2) they were less than $2 each so why not get them now instead of having to place another order & wait for them to arrive.

Understood. Thanks for the write up & part numbers. Sounds like a good way to go. Do you have a video or picture of the lights strobing?

Would the white turn signal/ brake be brighter than the red? Thinking I could go that way since I would have the red lense?

Thanks

Here is a few vids on CD's site of the Magic Strobe in action.

As far as white being brighter you will see no difference. They make them in white for people who use red or amber lenses and in red and amber for those who use smoke or clear lenses. You won't see much difference in intensity. If you thought of running clear or smoke lenses in the future you may want to opt for red. Leaves your options open.

no pics yet.
got the correct load equalizer today, installed it, checked all operations & buttoned everything up. its kinda hard to see the turn signal from the tail light in the dark...for me anyways. but dont let that stop you guys from getting these i think it just might be my eyes & it could also be the fact that im so close to them when i look at them.
i didnt notice any light output difference when i pu the red lenses on verses the clear lenses so i went with the stock lenses.

Hey Chillls I'll be interested to see any pics you put up. I did notice that if I stand too close, it appears some of the LEDs are not on, but when I move, or or move back I realize it's an optical thing, typically from being too close and looking down. See if you notice any difference when you back up, even at night I thought they were much brighter, during the day it's 'night and day' (yes, pun intended!).

In front I went with the Dynamic Ringz which has the outter ring of white LED's and the inner set all amber. I used clear lenses up front, and red in the rear. The only concern I have honestly is someone helping themselves because it's so obvious they're LED's (had this happen before)

Glad it's all installed and buttoned up. Check it out and see what you think. If you haven't, you can do what I did . . . put an original incadesant bulb on one side, and an LED on the other and compare.
