Default 1994 ElectraGlide ??

Hey everyone,

New member and I am looking into getting myself a bagger for this season to take some week long trips, as the shovelhead is getting tired. I'm looking at a 94 electraglide with 15k on the clock.
Seems like it is in decent shape guy agreed to $7000, what do you guys think ??

Thanks in Advance

Not a great price, but not a bad one either. Great bike, will go forever and is easy to work on.

It's a good bike and I like mine but it's a little too old to find parts as easily as a '96 and newer. My control switches were wearing out and I had find many parts at swap meets or eBay. The later models have more parts available.

I sold my '95 for $6500 18 months ago.

80,000 miles on it.

from a shovel to an evo is a nice move, you'll dig it- and all the parts look familiar

as mentioned above a few concerns with fairing /instruments as they changed to current fairing in 96.

but the 94 is solid

You'll find plenty of help and support in the Evo section. Rode from the UK to Hungary and Slovenia on our 1990 Glide last summer! Still works.....

have to ask, what model is your "tired" shovel? I have an 82 flt.
I had a 96 electra glide for a while and loved it (at least on the carb side, it shared similarities with my shovel). Only traded it because I wanted a more comfortable ride when my wife rode with me.

I had a 93 before I got my custom and I paid 7995.00 for it...for a EVO bagger you cant go wrong at 7000.00......Also.....The EVO parts myth is highly overstated.....I can get on line and find more parts for the Evo's than any other Harley ever made....these bikes are workhorses....theres tons of them out there....they are reliable and dependable and Ill bet I have less problems mechanically and parts wise than someone with a 2001.....the people who make the aftermarket parts know the demand for the bikes made during the EVO era is very high and they make a ton of money on them becuause of the sheer volume of EVOS on the road....they hold their value well...part of the reason EVOS are still selling as a 93 for 7000.00 is because the demand is there. i love my current EVO (picture in my signature) In fat I cant see myself switching to a twin cam unless the EVO market dries up or the parts truly do disappear from the market. But I tell you from expierence anyone who thinks that you cant readily get parts for any EVO especially 1992 and up is not looking very hard...theres tons of them on line and I lknow of three shops within 20 miles of my House in Indiana where all they sell is Evo parts. Dont let a distorted myth detour you from what most would say is a great purchase. just because Harley does not stock all of the available parts for them anymore dont mean you cant readily get them someplace else. I cant see them going anywhere any time soon.

Found this in under 30 secconds......http://www.ebay.com/itm/HARLEY-EVOLU...673107?vxp=mtr

http://www.shopzilla.com/1993+Harley...n+parts/search

If you look on line you can find anything and do not forget this forum is a great resource....if you cant by chance find a part on line someone here has a link or fone number or catalouge to get you the part.

The 93 was my stable leader for 3 years and I changed and updated everything and not one part eluded me. You may not always find it right away everytime true but that can happen with anything.....and remember theres more EVOs out there than any other model right now so parts are plentiful and in demand.

Heres a budddy of mine his name is Phantom...he runs the Evo departmnt of a race shop here in Indiana....if he don't have your part he can get it and arrange affordable shipping...new parts...used parts....and no swap meet crap.......

Phantom...."WHITES PIT STOP"....330 E US HIGHWAY 30, Schererville, IN
219-865-3337

HOPE THIS HELPS WITH ANY FUTURE ISSUES GETTING PARTS.
