I've got an 09 FLHX and am installing prime apes (just like everybody else). I got the left side through fine. While pulling through the throttle side, I got everything through, but noticed one of my solders broke. Damn! While pulling that side back out the TBW wires came out of the connector (which I had heatshrinked to be safe). I didn't think it was a big deal until I noticed that the wires aren't color matched. I've been working with another forum member and he gave me this:
blk to blk
grey to blk
purple to white
light purple to red
brown to red
blue to white
My question is does it matter what black, red, or white I wire to or does the "polarity" matter? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I hate wiring!!!!!
