Sup guys and gals-well i finished some more things i have been working on and wanted to share them with you.
If you remember i put the floorboards on and they were very low and i was dragging them through the corners when not even turning very much-i was able to take one of the adjustment arms off and bolt the floorboard directly to the mount that goes to the bike.
Heres a better pic.
Also if you remember i put some speakers in my rear saddlebags but they needed a little boost so i got a little amp to do the job. I still need to straighten up the wiring some inside the bag. The amp works great and i couldnt beat the price, a guy a ride with let me have it.
I wanted to put some more contrast on the sled so i sprayed bedliner on some things to give me the look i wanted.
I like the look of shiney and flat together to break things up.
As always guys let me hear you thoughts-likes, dislikes, suggestions and comments. Peace-be safe and ride HARD!!!!
Ok guys a update on the floorboards i finally got the height situation took care off but with the right side were i wanted it, the rear brake pedal was on top of the floorboard. So im sure its not a popular fix but what i did was cut the outer most edge of the brake pedal off to clear the board-heres some pics This image has been resized. See here is a pic of how low they was before. I had to take one of the adjustment brackets off and it actually worked out perfect on the height and still have 2 way adjustment and im not grinding trenches in curves anymore. Anyway i used a 4-1/2 grinder with cutoff wheel then cleaned it up with a flapper disk then i switched to 2 different grades of sandpaper for the finishing touch. Give me your thoughts __________________ BE SAFE AND RIDE HARD!!! 2010 FXD/with a few extras
