Default FLHR vs FHLRC differences

Noob here. Just bought a 2007 Road King FLHR in need of a new gas tank. I have a line on a tank that is off a 2007 Road King FLHRC Classic.
Does anyone know if this tank will fit?
And what are the differences in the two models?
Thanks in advance.

I would be shocked if they weren't the same.

Generally the differences are only features - hard bags and cast wheels on the standard, leather and spokes on the classic. Not sure about 07, but in 2012 the other differences are that ABS and Cruise are standard on the classic but not on the FLHR

Not 100% positive, but I think about the only difference between the 2 is the bags. Leather hard bags for the classic and regular hard bags for the standard.

Thanks. It would not make sense for them to have two different tanks from a manufacturer point of view but would hate to buy the tank and regret it.

As far as the gas take goes, I believe the FLHRC has a cast 3D emblem that's glued on the tank where the FLHR has the painted 'emblem' on the tank. For the tank, that should be the only difference.

Oh, but yes . . . the "C" has leather, blah, blah, blah . . . not sure what leather 'stuff' has to do with a gas tank. If it matters at all, and you use the tank, folks will know it's a C on a non-C. But it's a hellofa lot cheaper than a new one I'm sure!

So I found a website that allows a part look up free. You just have to add the part to your shopping cart and then view the cart. Part number is listed there. I compared the tank from FLHR and FLHRC same part#.

thanks for the tip on Ronnies. Part numbers for the 2007 FLHR/FLHRC are the same 61268-03. What happens for 2009-2012 FLHR 61268-XX and FLHRC 61500-XX? Numbers are different but the tanks look the same-anyone try this swap?

BTW one difference in rear fenders is that the FLHRC fender is drilled for the standup license plate.

ok checked with the parts guy. both road king models in 2011 and 2012 use the primered tank 61268-08. 2009 and 2010 may use that tank also.
