i am too. So i have two possible answers of what happen. I connect my amp to "remote" of HU which is for steering wheel (discover after) and this wire always stay on or after some times playing with amp and HU (problems with my Pioneer not working) drained the battery. I didn't use my bike this first days of december, my battery was sure not really in full health...
This remote turn on connection shouldn't be drawing power. However, with the amp always on the heavy 12V lines off the battery to it 'are' on all the time (when the bike is on)... when the bike is off it shouldn't be draining it at all, and so long as the amp isn't somehow exceeding your recharging systems power you should still not be draining.
After chasing a problem with my amp and talking to RF I need to connect the remote power lead to the hot lead for the radio.
Does anybody know which lead is the radio hot??
