Seat Question - Anyone gone from an HD Brawler to a CC Solo?
I'm ready to pull the trigger on a CC Solo with backrest. I'm a little concerned with the height/reach though. The brawler puts me back at least 2" and down probably 1 1/2".
On the same token I have the Yaffe 12" bars "probably more like 14" and they do make me stretch a bit. 6'2 ish and my legs feel cramped on every bike. I'm sure I'll get used to the leg position. Already have the extended floorboard mounts from HD Goodies to move them out an inch.
Do I dare order the stock or should I have them customize it??
13k miles on the Brawler and I like it allot but want a backrest and a little more cushion than leather on fiberglass would be nice
Can't help with the seat question, but you mentioned the floorboards- I put the Kuryakyn extenders on mine because they were the only ones that moved the boards out and forward inch. I'm about 6'1".
I currently have the brawler and absolutely love it. I live close to C&C and have been there because I was thinking the same thing as you. I can tell you I have sat on some of their seats installed on my bike. Stock, 1" back, 2" back, lower, etc. I just couldn't pull the trigger because I love the way the brawler seats me "IN" the bike. I also wanted a back rest, but didn't like the way it felt.
If and when I need another seat I will definately get a C&C. On another note, I did purchase a pillion from them that matched up perfect to my brawler.
Yep, attaching pics. Love the Brawler (I had the DG Buttcrack solo...same seat). Loved it, except on any trip longer than an hour or two. C&C is my one and only "go to" guy now.

Sorry to Hijack this thread momentarily, but that's exactly what I'm looking for, a pillion that will go with my Brawler. I love the seating position of my Brawler, but now my wife and my daughter want to ride!
If at all convenient, can you post a pic of what the CC pillion looks like up against the HD Brawler. I just spoke to CC about the pillion and they said it matches up close to, but not exactly.
