Default Gas Octane ?

My question is about the difference between 91 & 93 octane and what compression they can support. Assuming a good and competent tune with either one. Is there a major difference between the two. Like with 91 can help prevent detonation say up to 10.5/1 hypotheticelly. So with the additional 2 octane get you an additional point to like 11.5/1. I know a lot of other come into to play but just kinda wondering about how much of a real world difference 93 makes over 93. THX

Default

or rather than support compression, support more advanced ignition timing.

the compression supported will be affected by head design (sharp edges, shape of chamber and piston dome) and temperatures

...and maybe I'm not smart enough to give an 'all things being equal" reply
