Fuel Moto 107 Kit install HELP
I need some help. I have done some searching, but can't find the answers. I am in process of installing the kit and have a few questions. I would like to get most of it wrapped up today, but FM is closed.
Question 1
2 different rings which goes where? There is a silver\polished and a black one.
Question 2
does is matter what side of the ring goes up? No dots just the letter N on one side of all of them
Question 3
The side of the piston skirt with the cutout goes toward the center of the motor correct?
I just want to be sure so if anyone has done the install can chime and give me some help that would be great. If not I can wait for tomorrow to call FM.
Thanks all

The markings on a set of rings always goes up. (at least on every set of rings I've ever seen). Stagger the gaps, it's laid out in the service manual. The top compression ring is the shiny one.
Set up your intake manifold before you put the rocker boxes together, for easier access to the mounting bolts. Some guys will install the intake manifold just before torquing down the heads.

Also, I believe fuel moto uses cp pistons in their kits. They have thicker circlips than the ones that the moco uses. Generally, I like to set the pistons up in the jugs with just the wrist pin area hanging out underneath, then drop the whole assembly down onto the connecting rod. But with cp pistons and those damn fat circlips, I've found it easier to install the piston on the connecting rod first, then using a pliers type of ring compressor, ease the jugs down onto the piston.
