I know a guy with an 07 SE Ultra, with the 110" motor, who had his bike dynoed and it only made 83hp and 101 ft-pds of torque.
It has a low rpm surge that he doesn't like and its still stock I believe, since he was asking for opinions on aftermarket exhaust. I asked him if he'd put on a freeer breathing air cleaner and he said he was told the SE bikes already came with a free breathing air cleaner.....
So do the CVO's get the SE air cleaner as stock?...and if so, do these performance numbers sound about right for a 110" motor? What can he expect to gain if he does a proper stage I with his bike?
I'm sure that getting a Sert or PCIII and a Dyno tune would help him a lot. Remember that the CVO's still have to meet the EPA standards, and are very very lean, the proper tune should make him much happier with his purchase. Its a darn shame that MOCO is forced to lean that bike out so that we have to go and have it changed to be right, but ya gotta love the tree huggers[:@]
The 2007 P&A catalog (page 536) shows the hp and torque for the 110 SE motor to be 80 hp and 95 torque with the torque dropping fast after 3500 rpm.(See the 110 Stage I kit described on page 537 which says this is the kit to duplicate the CVO 110 inch motor.)
Whether it comes with the SE air cleaner or not, he will need to richen the fuel mixture to get a better performing bike. A friend recently purchased the SERT and hooked it up to his computer to look at the preloaded maps used by the techs when using the SERTto tune bikes with aftermarket or SE mufflers, a/c, etc. and the maps provide a very lean mixture, frequently 14.6 a/f ratio.
I think it was "Rider" magazine who put a 07 SE on the dyno and while I don't remember the exact numbers, I know the HP was low 80's and I believe the torque was just under a hundred. If these numbers are right, my VTX1800 would stomp an 07 Ultra SE in to the ground. However, I would not want to pull up beside an 07 SE Dyna or Springer. The combo of that 110 engine mounted in a light weight bike would be too much for almost any true cruiser, or at least I would think that.

A buddy has an 03 SE RK (103"). He added SE11 slipons and had it dynoed
with a SERT. 100hp/105tq.
Based on those numbers I would think a Stage 1 110SE should easily get
105/110.
