Welcome to the club. Don't forgot to pay your membership dues. I accept Visa, Master and American Express. Oh...and cash will work too.

No really...sorry to hear that. You'll get over it. But it does suck.

Went from a Heritage to an Ultra Classic and before I got it set up for me, I dropped it twice. It is a heavy SOB ain't it??
On my first ever road trip (the one I've wanted to take since I saw East Rider at 14), I tried to drive off with the lock still on the wheel. Needless to say it didn't go far. Fortunately I had all sorts of help to get it picked back up since there were a bunch of people in the parking lot.

Laid my Ultra down in the garage a few years ago the day I brought her home. Pulled in, and was sitting there talking to the wife, showing her all the goodies. Started to get off and by the time I realized that the KICK STAND was not down, it was too late. All I could do is let it down easy. Like HogglyWoggly said, It a heavy SOB.

If you drop it in front of my group you are guaranteed to get a standing ovation.

If you lay it down “somewhat easy” it will simply rest against the crash bar (or foot peg if you have one). The floorboard will be pushed upward, no big deal. When mine went over the only marks were on the foot peg and a few small marks on the floorboard, nothing really noticeable. Like others, I think my pride was hurt more than the bike.

When do I get my membership card?

If it makes ya feel any better, I bought myself a new RoadKing for Christmas in 2006.
Road it home in 20 degree weather with snow flurries on Dec 16th.
My brother in Fla wanted to see a pic of the bike, so I backed it out of the garage the next day.

Stopped and put the kickstand down, and got off the bike in my sloped driveway.
Did I mention I left the bike in neutral?
As Iam walking back up the driveway to get the camera, I hear this scraping noise
As I turn around, to my horror, I watch the bike rolling backwards down the driveway
The front wheel was turned, so the bike heads for the curbing, and.............

flips over as I running towards it! Only damage was a "character" scratch on the crash bars
and a bent front fender rear molding (see pic)
