I do know this, that most likely no shop would do that for you. doing it yourself, well,. you're on your own.

I am pretty sure I said it can be done. No one told the op that it is ok to do or that he should disable anything. The system will also disable itself if it detects a fault, returning the brakes to a non-abs system. Just like all non police harleys built before 2008.

My point is where does that line get drawn? But if the forum decides that is where they want to draw it, well it's their sand box and they can run it any way they want.

I told you that was going to happen way back on page 1, post #7. Not exactly as I had prophesized, but you get the idea.

I don't know of many semi's that can stop as fast as a motorcycle can, so if you end up with your face planted in the rear of one I'd have to say that had more to do with your actions than that of your braking system, short of complete failure.
