My Speed Bleeder experience
at work right now so don't have access to the bike, but according to their chart, the sb3824 is for the 06-07 flhx, which didn't have the brembo brakes. the sb8125l will fit the 08-10 flhx, which according to the parts manual, uses the same caliper that my bike uses.
and that is why i have yet to buy these. i've been looking at them for years, but because of the contradiction on their website, i've not ordered.
yeah, i could call and get it straight from the source, but just haven't been that motivated. figure if they want my money, they'll make it easy for me to spend it.

Re: Speed Bleeders. I called and still don't know or at least trust their information. The only way is to pull one off or at least one from an I identical bike. Ever thought of talking to your rep at your HD shop? I sure the mechanics know what size wrench they use. (Well, most of them). I did just buy a MityVac instead.
Anyone fit Speedbleeders to a 09 EG? Brembo calipers?
Just did mine and noticed an o ring on the rear oem bleed nipple. When installing the SBer its hard if not near impossible to fit the new bleeder.
Should this be installed with or without the o ring

nvm, found this in the service manual, maybe helpful to others :
When removing or replacing a bleeder valve in the rear
brake caliper or front banjo bleeder bolts, remove the oring from the bleeder valve groove or bore and discard.
The o-ring is required only for brake bleeding at the factory .
Although not sold separately , it may be present in certain
assemblies as currently sold. If care is not taken to remove
and discard the o-ring, it ma y become lodged in the caliper/banjo bleeder bolt bore during bleeder valve installation and prevent proper torquing or sealing

Here is one lucky person. Speed bleeders never leaked, made changing the break fluid so easy I now change my Dot5 fluid once a year. Over doing it maybe, but It keeps a closed loop system very clean with no moisture. I am not a fanatic I just enjoy riding and working on the bike. When I get real board I even change the air in the tires. LOL
While planning to flush the brake fluid on my 2007 FLHX, I thought I'd try the Speed Bleeders. After receiving them last week, I attempted to install them and found that the first one I tried did not fit. I contacted them and got an email back asking if my calipers were OEM and I confirmed they are the originals. They responded that what they sent me SHOULD fit...well they don't. So, either they screwed up the manufacturing of the bleeder or they packaged the wrong bleeders. Not one to wait too long for a follow-up response from their customer service rep (I'm still waiting), I completed the flush using my vacuum pump which has worked fine for many years. Looks like the Speed Bleeders will hit the trash can. Your experience may vary....
Will you please tell me what the speed bleeders' model number is for your 2006? If you yet have the packages or wrote down the number it would help me order--or at least confirm what the SB people tell me is correct.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Reviving an older thread as I'm about to install some speed bleeders on my 2009 FLHT. I've used them multiple times in the past on metric bikes I had. I ordered up some SB8125L bleeders for the front/rear as that's what specified for my brembo brakes. The stock front bleeders take a 8mm wrench, but the stock rear bleeder requires the use of a SAE 3/8 wrench. Just want to verify with those in the know that the rear bleeder is still the SB8125L speed bleeder ?? It's also on really tight, so likely will need to use some penetrating oil/mini butane torch to facilitate removal. Thanks for any input..
