I just want to say Dont cancel your ESP
I've been pulling my bushtec since 05. I've never had a problem from any dealership regardless of the reason I was there. I unhook it and leave it right outside the door while the bike is in the shop.
the dealer is there to make money yours and the insurance companys. The last thing they want to do is **** you off and you go down the road to the next shop giving them the money you should have given the 1st shop.
Then when you get home you get on places like here and tell the world that Dealership X is a bunch of a$$holes and would not fix your bike. Causing more lost sales.
Besides you paid for the ESP. And Harley DOES NOT want to give it back.
On my 05 Uktra My ESP paid for itself plus a little more.
This makes sense. I have to agree on this one. I had ext. warranty work done, and have a SE uner installed. The service manager told me not to "mention" the tuner the HD warranty people, since it would "void" the warranty. It had nothing to do with the problem I was having, of course, and tthe dealers know it. They want your business, not hand you a huge bill and a voided warranty. I say keep it, you will be just fine.
I believe I would "cancel" the idea of pulling a trailer and learn how to pack efficiently.
LOL I'm looking for a sticker that say's " My Bike Her $hit" to go on my trailer.
They are handy i go the the gocery store. Lowes haul all sorts of stuff to keep from taking the truck.
