I have the Kuryakyn run turn brake module with the flashing brake lights. Not real sure what happened, but it stopped working right. If I put my turn signals on all 3 rear lights flash (fronts work fine)
This all worked fine last season. So I am going to guess that one of my winter mods did me in.
Here is what I've don this winter:
10" Yaffe bagger bars, nothing had to be done with wireing.
La Choppers Lowering Kit. (wondering if I could be rubbing wires under my fender) will check this out soon.
Changed my fuel filter
Added a thumb tab to the throttle lock star bottom side of the throttle housing.
And today, I changed my driving light bulbs to 38 watt bulbs (896) I had one burnt out, and changed them both to the brighter bulbs. Can this effect turn signal/brake light function?
I checked the actual module and load equalizer and they are plugged in and wires look good.
I will guess my culprit is the lowering kit and some wires got rubbed, what else I should check?
Ok, so here is what I found, and I am perplexed. Fuse was blown, replaced it and still hav fast flashing, even when removing the RTB controller. Ideas???

Yes. You may not like this answer but my idea is that Kury stuff is crap. Should have bought the HD module.
I suspect when you changed your handle bars you buggered up the brake switch on your front brake. I'd be looking there. Quite common when removing the front brake.
I found the wires coming from the signal bar all chewed up from the lowering kit and the tire rubbing them. I got the wiring repaired, but I still have my fast turn signal flashing. They will flash at a normal rate 5 times then they go to double time.
The Kuryakyn Bullet turn signal bar re locates the plate to under the taillight and has an LED license plate light that taps into the taillights power an ground, I have to use a load equalizer.
Could the shorting out have fried my load equalizer? That is the only thing I can guess.
I am thinking about pulling the power source from the taillight and moving it to a keyed power source and eliminate the need for a load equalizer, but I'm not real sure where I can tap into, and if that would cause me any other problems.
