well i ended up finding a pretty much bran new wheel and tire from a 2012 Streetglide, so i called the dealer to get some bearings (because it was off a abs bike), and the newer front axle with spacers, the dealer told me that the front forks was narrower on the newer bike and i wouldent be able to use that axle on my 06 forks? i thought the frontends have been the same sence like 00? and the he said i couldent put the 06 bearings in the wheel because the pocket on the wheel was to shallow which im pretty sure is right, but please tell me hes wrong about the front ends and all i still have to do is get the 09-12 front axle, wheel bearings and spacers?? to run the 2012 front wheel on my 06 streetglide, and then just bolt my rotors too the wheel and i can still use my calipers right??
All you have to do is change out the left side bearing, the"ABS" bearing, the right side bearing is the same on either wheel, you need 1 non ABS bearing for the left side, axle & spacers from 08-12, that's it. I don't like bashing the dealers, but hard not to when they don't know what they're talking about & give out misinformation.

I agree, but this is a non-standard modification! I wouldn't expect a dealer to know how I am going to install a Deuce rear wheel in my 1990 Glide, but I worked that out for myself in advance.....
If you don't know the answer, don't give the wrong information, just say "I don't know"!
hey thanks again man, yea they had me all confused when they said i couldent use that newer axle, anyways looks like ill just have to show them
thanks
