My mother always said, there is no such thing as a dumb question. this one may prove her wrong. I was wondering if it is okay to put wax on a denim paint job.

 

yes...but it will make it shiny....hd does not recommend it because it won't look "denim" anymore....

 

This really is a low maintanence paint job. My sales man told me the best way to wash it is with windex. My first thought was cool, but then I thought that windex has ammonia. That won't hurt the paint, esspecially when no wax? Not that I rather wash over ride, but the bike does have under a thousand miles on it. And the cost kinda indicates that maybe I should take better care of this one compared to how I cared for my Suzuki.
