It did it once turning left but figured it was the kickstand that hangs down a bit lower.
Is this normal?
Is this the first time you tok this exit to work? Ride slower.....may not happen again.

I agree the COW method works great. No more scraping... makes sense that the more leaned over rider and bike are the less traction you have.
Ride like a pro they are scraping on slow maneuvers, not high speed turns.
There are .mountain switch backs that it seems like scraping is hard to avoid.

Both my footboards are scraped pretty good. Drag em on ramps all the time, and sometimes on turns in town..... I just figure it's my bikes way of telling me "Far enough" .. the new frame handles great!

Being in the Military, I've had to do the MSF Riders courses, did the ARC, and in the long turn they have you do, I drug my board. The others in the group were looking like HOLY COW,, all the instructor did was say, "Very nice" and grinned....

Yes. I scrape way too much so I am stopping it.

It means u r at the maximum lean angle. U can actually go further and scrape the floorboard supports but it is NOT advisable since it can kick out ur rear tire and that is a no no.

I did not read all the other replies so if this is a repeat, sry.

Try not to scrape the floorboard since it is the "max" u can lean the bike. No worries. But now u know how far it can lean. No worries, no harm.

If u do it too much, u will wear down ur floorboards. I had to replace mine once. Look at the motormens floorboards and u will see they are typcially scraped down a lot.

corners, turns, curves, how ever you want to call em is the best place to have fun and take advantage of being on two wheel.
pretty much three things to consider and thats your lean angle, how well you can see through the curve and how to control the motorcycle on exit of the curve. All this stuff is called choosing or picking your line.
going in hot and using threshold and trail braking or going in slow to moderate and rolling on while in the curve is up to your comfort.
It's up to you and only you to determine whats comfortable. Whats good for me may not be good for you. Its called riding your own ride.
Out-in-Out, middle middle middle or any other combination may work on your favorite curve. Try it and see!
Ride and have fun, you dont need permission to smile.
