fairing wind deflector install question

fairing wind deflector install question
Just got a used set of fairing wind deflectors and not sure how they mount. No hardware came with it, and looks like they mount were pins go into inner fairing. Do I replace pins with screws? Any clarification would be a great help. Just want to make sure before opening up fairing. Thanks.

the "pins" or plugs are easily removed by wrapping a little dental floss around the head and pulling straight back.
duh, I think I remember the screws are #8 machine screws... ?
