Default Intercom only working one way

2012 Ultra EG. Came with a stock headset. Ordered a second set from IMC (HS-H140). We hooked up both sets today. Driver can transmit, both VOX and PTT to rider but rider cannot do the same to driver. Swapped location of headsets and still have the same problem. Any suggestions?

Just a follow up, we have the speaker switch in the forward position. We did not try the switch in any other position. Could that be our issue?

Check the pins in the lower cord that you are using. I have had pins get bent while putting them in place and could not transmit, or got a high pitched squeel. Also check your inter com volume for the rider headset. You would be surprised that many people don't even realize their intercom volume is either very low or muted.

Stang951,

You were correct. I thought I had the volume up high enough but nope. Turned it up more and now both headsets work great in the garage. Too late tonight to go for a ride but the weather looks good for tomorrow.

The owners manual has a wealth of information on the radio and other things about the bike...Not trying to be rude.

My 2009 Road King has pretty much every option an Ultra has with the exception of an intercom. Just don't have a desire for it
