My check engine light came on and my cruise control would not engage on a recent ride here in FL. I've got about 8,000 miles on the bike.
I took it to the Seminole HD dealer here in Sanford for warranty repair this morning and got it back late today. The fix was replacing the cruise control set/ resume switch. I'm surprised that a simple switch would fail so soon.
Everything works fine now and I'm hoping that I don't have anymore failures with all the switches and sensors that this bike is equipped with.
"Check Engine" light came on my 2011 Electra Glide Classic and locked out the cruise control. Owners manual says if ECM ain't happy, that's exactly what will happen. Had 2 dealers look at it and they both said the same thing - the code says it's in the cruise control circuit itself. Made an appointment so the tech can set up the "break-out box" to troubleshoot and repair.
Check engine ligt came on. I have run all the self diagnostics, all saying none (as far as faults) cant get it to clear??? 2005 ultraglide. thanks for any and all help?
